Tender Eyes

tender eyes
burnt
from the tears she cries
tired
from too many sleepless nights
no longer do the sparkle
no longer do they shine
no longer can I see the pain
the despair
the passion from those tender eyes
she had tears in her eyes.
but baby they didn't show the lies
hidden by the smiles
only to be found
lost in the skies
you can tell she's shy
you don't know why
you’re the only one she sees
so save her now
her tender eyes
make her smile
make her see
you're the one
who can set her free
