Swaying
Past me
The copper-haired boy
From the first beach day

Swaying
Swishing
Striding
Stirring
For a brief moment
We held with our eyes
The same thought
1, 2, 3
Look Down

It was all in slow motion
And then you left
This time, your copper hair wasn't
Tousled
Touchable
Tangible
Soft
Luscious
Smooth
This time, your copper hair was
Gelled
Spiked
Prickly
But nonetheless
I could still fall asleep in your arms.
