Favorite Quote:
A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver.

I once heard the Earth breathe,
Her tender sighs softly shook,
Giving a reverberating roar,
Its soul had soared.

I once heard the Earth breathe,
Dawn’s fingertips of rose embraced,
The evergreen glades quivered,
And winds fluttered unforgettable joy.

I once heard the Earth breathe,
Sol and Luna one as the clouds danced,
Twilight had begun.

For I had once heard the Earth breathe,
Fiery wings were alit,
As the orbs of beam had intermingled,
Her tender sighs softly shook,
Giving a reverberating roar,
Its soul had soared.

The author's comments:
Once when I was a little child, I was helping my mother clear away the weeds and instill newer life into the soil in the form of flowers. And, as we cleared away the rotten and spoiled, I saw something that has stayed with me till this day. I saw the Earth breathe and gasp for air. I felt our Earth as it feels us. Our planet is alive.
