If I was any object in the world I would be a blank canvas
Ready to absorb a new year
Every fall at the beginning of the school year I begin to change Lines and colors appear on me
And my surface becomes coated with paint and other mediums to add more dimensions and texture
Papers and stickers are mod podged on as the year moves along
My blank canvas isn't so blank anymore and I have been covered all over
Layers and layers of art have been placed on me all year and I am finally finished
Finished because I have matured and changed throughout the year
The artistry is done and so am I The school year begins again and I am a blank canvas once more
