The Wait
June 20, 2013
I am just sitting here,
Wondering why, my dear.
I don't want you to go,
I hope this you know.
This wait is so long,
The distance is going to feel so wrong.
There is an ache in my chest,
And my thoughts will not let me rest.
I don't know how long it will last,
The time just will not pass.
I look back and see,
All the fun times you had with me.
This is all I have for now,
The bad memories I will not allow.
I can hardly stand this,
All I can do is reminisce.
But I feel this is my fate,
Always waiting for my soul mate.
