Favorite Quote:
"God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers."

Nestled in a hedge,
Was a perfect, pink rose.
Beauty was her servant.
And flattery was her accomplice.

She stretched out her shiny petals
And gave the sun a bright smile.
She gossiped to nearby blossoms
About a handsome sunflower.

Raindrops were lucky
To give her a light kiss.
And the sun often
Bestowed a spotlight upon her.

As the wind whistled through her petals,
She batted her eyes romantically.
But under her dreamy eyes,
She held poison.
Her petals enticed many
But thorns lurked underneath.
As beauty clouded the eyes,
The heart was trapped in venom.

She coaxed her victim to her
And ensnared him in spikes.
He was bound helpless
And knelt at her mercy.

Beauty is only what you see.
And it may shield you
From what one may truly be.
Yet, she found endless preys.
