You grab me by the hand
Pushing me away
Spit blood in my ear
Bitter gall, crooked words
Cutting straight to the heart
You promised
You would never let me go
Where is it now?
Drowned in a shot of delight
You threw it back at my huddled self
Crying in the corner
While you reside
In your sharp needle and fire
You melt in your twisted joy
Seeing fires where there's only ice
Breathing in smoky fumes, and then burning
Love down, to ashes
And nothing more
