What if
just for a moment
you could freeze a thunderstorm
stop every last raindrop
crystallize the air
and send your thoughts
dancing between the gaps
that even the downpour missed

and you could lay on the ground
limbs spread and mouth open
underneath the web of
timestruck droplets
feel no fear
and sing your heart out
into the glassy room
suspended
on your chest?
