I am lost—
in a world where lost things
crinkle, and wither, and die.
Where lost is as good
as forgotten,
and forgotten is as good
as gone.

I am lost—
in a place where other lost things
gather and fade away,
shadows once there,
now nothing.

I am lost—
in a space where countless lost things
have formed tiny memories,
tiny aches in hearts.

I am lost.
