Visions of a Dream

Dreams whirl, and dance around in my head, as I lay quiet in my bed.
Shadows of the night come to and fro
but they shall never know.
As I close my eyes at night
And enter a deep sleep,
My mind turns into a movie screen.
Pictures are vivid as they twist and turn.
Colors are exuberant.
As they burn an image in my head
The experience is in 3-D.
Sights, smells
Tastes, and touch
Surroundings are impeccably in unison.
Kept apart from the every day
Is a whole new world for us to stay.
