her tears fall
and so do mine
and for every shining moment that she smiles
my heart is lifted
but she cannot know.
i think of her
i dream of her
i watch her grow
i cry for her
i live for her
and i would die for her.
the bottle seals
and my pain will not go free.
and i must face the darkness alone
because she cannot know.
