Ribbons
Blue, red, yellow
Lying inside a glass case
Draped over trophies and plaques

Ribbons
Metallic letters glimmering
Hints of shine hidden
Beneath dirty glass and dull fabric

Ribbons
Once a matter of pride
Now dusty and forgotten
Vibrant colors faded
Like the memories of winning them
