You see there just not reality 
But an alternate universe
One where you control things
Where you have a say!
I my dreams I get to cry
And no one asks why
I never have to explain my self
And everyone understands! 
Water falls fall up,
And stop signs are blue. 
But most of all I matter to you!
Reality says we're just friends,
Yet my alternate universe,
It Says differently! 
Over there we talk

Share kisses in the moon light
Laugh and cry
Together!

If only, if only! 
Cup cakes were no calories
And easy A's existed 
In my dreams
All the drama has dispersed 
And life made you smile
It's crazy! Cuz in my dreams,
Silk flowers smell like roses 
And barbie dolls actually talk.
When I'm in bed at night,
Happy ever afters happen often 
And music was all Over
When Its dark and cold
I wish for my dreams again
For when my toes are warm
Warm and fuzzy! 
My dreams help me through
They've taught me right and wrong
They've shown me the dark from light
And how to find the path I was sent to find 
All the trees are purple
And shoes are sparkly
And there's no death or heart break
In my dreams I get to disappear 
I get to move on
And everything is simple once more
And fixing problems is easy 
And laughter is found more then tears
Where birds are blue
And sunsets are silver 
Where the ocean makes you feel alive
And wind sets you free
Pears are red
And sleeps are sound
Why is all that only in my head?
