Starry peach rainbows winking mid-afternoon
Splashing and dancing on boughs
A crystal eyed comet shower raining
Wreathed in halos and frost
Is stirred by gold dragon's breath curling through
A diamond that trembles before it faints
Then a flighty bronze shimmer
Before it fades too, now up to the reflection
Of glassy water dappling wood
A world softly thawing behind silent's window
Breathing lovely, dripping wet while
Sighing water and white gems
A twisted trunk wrapped upward
Open basking in the sky
A misty mountain wedding veil
Behind clear grey wood lying low
A rich pine cliff crusted with light
It all prods through with tenuous grace
A morning sighing on warm below
Waking her gently, undressing her snow

The author's comments:
I woke up one morning in France to the most breath-taking window view I've ever had. Nature isn't normally my topic of poesy, but I made an exception.

As a fellow writer you would have been in fits of ecstasy to see the morning scene I wrote this about--it really was a fantasy. I'd be glad to look at your work and I'm off to do so right now because I have nothing to do :p

I absolutely adore your word choice--very image-invoking. The whole thing had a fantasy feel to it, which kind of scrambles your brain and makes it hard to believe you really just read something that awesome. You're a talented poet--I would be honored if you would check out something of mine and let me know what you think, if you have the time. I can handle criticism, so don't go easy on me if you decide to comment!
