Never again

shall i fall for you

there are better things to do

never again

shall i trust in you

when youve broken my trust once too many times

never again

will i breathe for you

i can now breathe for myself

never again

shall i think of you

i have myself to think of first

never again

shall i wonder where you are now

because i know youre burning in the pits of hell

The author's comments:
I wrote this after I let someone disappoint me, and I let their actions ruin not even a few days but almost a whole month of my time upset because of their actions. I wrote this poem when I had a realization that I shouldn't let them ruin who I am and what I want to do.
