Regret This work is considered exceptional by our editorial staff.

I sipped questions from my mug
Terse grimace, regretful hug
Two bells did ring separately
And there we let the ending be

The story for “once upon a time...”
My secrets were yours and yours were mine
In my heart woven secretly
Along came the devil slyly

Apple in my palm burning bright
I swear—I tried to run with all my might
Oh, but my secrets came out; all went away
Only hatred and regret left to stay

#TRUTH  Well written. It's lyrically lovely.
