Invisible
I am known as invisible;
artistic,
quiet, different, and
expressive.
Relative of she who is well-known.
Lover of the arts
and music,
of quietness and dreams,
Who feels that darkness, depression,
and weakness
will someday soon
take over her
dreams.
I am the one who needs help from others,
the sight of happiness,
and the heftiness
of love,
yet I am the one who fears society,
mirrors, and scales.
I am the one who gives my best,
and gives the worst, and sometimes,
I am the one who gives the
rest.
I am she who would like to see
happiness upon my face
in the mirror,
a sigh of relief whilst stepping
on the scale,
and finally,
I am she who would like to see
her hopes and dreams
finally come to be.
I am the resident of the middle of nowhere,
lost in my mind.
I am known as invisible.
