Lovelight, stay but a while longer!
You shine so brightly, as if you would blaze forever -
But you are not an undying star.
Not immortal - nothing is but mortality,
Memories, and ashes – the remnants.

What a cycle, sphere, spiral we are victim of -
All occurrence rise and fall again.
For a moment in wonder, delighted
And blind to tomorrow -
Next – without, questioning happy future,
Low in sorrow.

Face the truth and know it won't remain -
Must trust – happily embrace the next thing,
For this present moment will always end -
Fire to ashes – condensed and boxed again.
