snow covered forest
pink and yellow sunrise
a soft light on the
wolf’s luxurious fur

Her gentle orange gaze
blue and purple winds

reaching to me
Stay
Stay here
Stay with me

Fear
a single sharp pang--
distant shapes moving
away, far away
Fear

hiding behind a barren
tree is a white tail
on a strong, confident
being, full of ferocity,
a stark beauty

A Protector
An Unknown

I can’t move past
How I long to
I can’t move past
How I’ll stay forever if
I can

Fear runs away from
Me.

I wrote this based off of a photo we looked at in English. I guess I wanted to see and go beyond the wolf, but also to stay there.
