"She looks quite young to have committed such a offense."
They acted as though she'd killed somebody.
Caught in the act.
"Can you plead innocence?"
She wouldn't let them know.
They can decide what to do with her.
"Depresses me to see someone so young astray."
Didn't try to argue innocent.
She felt close to blubbering.
She was going awful,
It was his fault.
