The boy was deaf
was he ready?
yes
the hardship
on an even tougher path
What will I give?
baptism
he is not alone
on the path
hands on his head
the promise of community
the promise of an easier path

It wasn't bad but I would like it if you would lengthen it a bit and add more details so I could feel a connection  to the character more deeply. I believe that it could become a greater poem if you did that and show more feelings in the main character. Nice job other than that.
