I Am Hurt

I am hurt.
I’m swaddled in fear and self-doubt.
I need to be rescued from the endless dark that consumed my world.
I am the child of depression.
I retreat to the arms of my abuser
My goal in life is to feel worthless and lost hope.
I dwell and focus on my inner weakness and inability to cope with sadness.
