Im a person not your prisoner

I try to think of how life would be if you hadn't done what you did to me
How the world would look through my own eyes instead of listening to all your lies
To hear the beating of a heart that isn't my own
To be free from the grasp you tightly hold and to live my life not feeling so cold
To think of myself as a person,a whole,and not a prisoner at your control
