hey

I was blind before I met you.
Blind to the wonders of life.
To the wonders of love.

I was numb before I met you.
Numb to the gentlest touch.
To the lightest grip.

I was ageusic before I met you.
Couldn’t taste the sweetest flavors.
The roughest spices.

I was anosmic before I met you.
Couldn’t smell the ripest fruits.
The pungent peels.

I was deaf before I met you.
Deaf to the most sensual coos.
To the harshest insults.

I met you.

My vision is 20/20.
I feel your sincerity.
I am hypergeusic.
I am hyperanosmic.
I can hear your cries for love.

I am infatuated.

Totally good. I love the second and the final (If you dont count the last, stand alone line its final) stanza. I like how you worked the sensational element into you poem, even making the whole thing sit on it, it really have it a lot of strength and made it easy to immerse yourself into the work. I admit I had to look up anosmic (I should have been able to figure it out from the context, shouldnt I? Its painfully obvious now that I think about it '-.- Just a bit dense today...) This is an awesome work, anyhow. 5/5!
