Love is a 9-5 job.
When you have it
You have to do it
And you don’t mind it.
You like it.
You can enjoy it.
You have fun with it.
It starts to drag on.
It stretches the days out.
It costs you money, time, and sleep.
It stresses you,
It exhausts you.
It’s work.
You put up with it.
You moan about it.
You’re tired of it.
Love is a 9-5 job.
It starts great.
It ends rough.
When the night hours come
And no one can see
The night shift begins.
