Look at her so happy,
all smily and sappy,
But do you know how she feels?
Oh, the things she does not reveal.
As her face lights up and she looks joyed,
her heart is slowing being destroyed.
As her eyes do not betray and show none of her fears,
Her pillow is full of sorrowful tears.
She smiles by day,
But as the night fades to gray,
Her strength is weakened,
and she is now abandoned,
Her heart pours out into her sheets,
as she weeps herself to sleep.
So, do not let her looks fool you,
because the happiness she portrays is untrue.
Please do not fall for this,
because you will miss this.
The tears she silently cries.
She believes this is her demise,
If only someone would try,
Then she would not have to cry.
