He stared straight ahead
Never looking back
He looked past the taunt and the lies
THe rules and the disguise
Even when the sadness lie in his eyes
The pain...it just neutralized
I wanted to cry
Oh, the sorrow in his mind
I wonder where his soul shines
I wonder where the woe dies
He just a sad song with no rhymes
A lost cause with no sign
A moment’s pause with no further time
He dances to a song with no beat
I yearn to give him release
But nevertheless...
He stares straight ahead
Never looking back.....
