As I walked into the classroom
I was greeted by a deep voice which I now like very much
I took my seat actually began to do work

The desks were made into groups of four
His group was right next to mine
And I was technically sitting next to him

Very close
Less than an arms length away
I must admit I liked it

At one point he sat in the empty chair
In front of me and he winked
And displayed himself in a laid back manner

And we had somewhat morbid conversations
About death sentences and
What we would choose as our last meal

I laughed because he was funny
And I agreed with what he said
And he agreed with what I said

Gathering up my courage
I got his attention
I asked him

Are you going to club
He said in his bass voice
I believe so

He smiled at me
Spared me the time of day
It was very nice

He hardly knows who I am though
Finally figured out my name
I know my crush is one sided, no reply

Now my life is sweet like cinnamon
Like a stupid dream I'm living in
All's well that ends well
