Rerun
It’s the same thing
And they just don't seem to understand
It’s a giant circle each time they open their mouth
And interrupt every single second
The cliche teen who believes she’s mature
But still breaks down if she’s told no
Just once
And the mom who doesn’t understand the views
Of the changing world
And the society inflicted on these teens
Even if she claims she does
And they have no idea that the other one
The quietly sitting sister
Is in the other room listening
Like she’s seeing a rerun of the worst kind of show
For yet another time again
And probably soon after
Again, and again, she’ll see it
Another coming day
