"I write to create
In the world's massive novel
A page of my own"
-A haiku from somebody on this site

Not a peep out of you now,
As I come into life.
Entering this ripe world,
ready to turn on the light.

Not a peep out of you now,
As I struggle to grow.
Being mocked by strangers
of whom I don’t know.

Not a peep out of you now,
As I walk down the street.
Gliding blissfully, sailing swiftly
upon the street as I travel.

Not a peep out of you now,
As I overcome all my fears.
Climbing mountains, jumping rivers;
all without tears.

Not a peep out of you now,
As I ripen carefree;
Night has come,
ready to overtake me.

Not a peep out of you now,
As I finally fall.
Enduring pain and sorrow,
until I end.

Not a peep out of you now,
I’m finally here.
Alone in the sky,
still living without fear.

And last but not least,
As you watch me with grief.
Not a peep out of you now,
Hush, go to sleep.

For you will be next, my child,
An empty feat.
