Hear The Sound of Your Own Heart

I'm the gray in the sea
Nestled between blue
An uglier degree
Of that lovely hue
Just like standing by the shore
I'm just another person you'd rather ignore
Swallowed by the water
My feet hit the sand
Not bloody as a slaughter
No gun in my hand
My lips may turn gray
Seems to tranquil the mind
To blush this ghostly way
Seaweed and fingers entwined
My thoughts are drowning
They're swallowed by the sea
Everything is pounding
My lungs scream a plea
The gray is becoming overpowering
We're becoming one in the same
The fish in the sea are all cowering
They're frightened by what I became
