Crawling out from under
The pressures of
Veins, molecules, pain--
Clawing at the
Sidewalks
Siding
Sycamores
Not good enough
To be a reflection
Not strong enough to become
Separated from it’s host
A parasitic
Pathetic
Pulling--
At the being
With a burdened
Fixed height
Black against the
Night
Glowing in the light--
Stuck on earth
Stretching as far as--
Limits
Leering
Lost
A perfect picture
Of trapped
Hopeless--
Yet
No
One
Ever
Takes
Notice.
