Be like a tree,
Strong yet humble,
Healing the hearts that bleed
With wounds
Unsaid and unheard.
Nourishing the eye
That yearn with curiosity
And filling the minds
Of the hopeless
With thoughts serene and promising.

Be like her leaves
Taking in what the world left- useless
And giving life,
Spreading a shade
And being home to a few.

Be like a tree,
Forgive those who hurt you
And spread a smile when you can.

A tree speaks not through words
But it does through its deeds,
Purifying the soul of this earth,
Sheltering those who ignore her,
And inspiring this world
With the best of virtues
And sometimes
Inspiring a few like me
Even to write a poem!!
