The Floors of School

it use to be new
it stays under legs and feet
its always getting beat
now its scratched trashed and broken
in some places
its brown and old
i have not found any mold yet but if
i look hard enough i might
at night it is always cold
a new time has come for this old
wood floor it is i am afraid time to
replace this old wood floor
