I am like a Star

I am a star,
One in millions,
Shining my own unique light,
Twinkling and strong,
Despite the dark around me.
Shining together,
Our lights unite,
Connecting soul after soul,
Story after story,
Feeling after feeling.
Our light is a guide,
Illuminating our paths,
And if something comes along,
To hide our light,
We still know that we are beautiful,
And shine brighter,
To burn out their shadow.
I am a star.
You are a star.
We are the light,
That illuminates this galaxy,
Called life.
