"We are the stuff that dreams are made of." ~William Shakespeare; Prospero- The Tempest

All the light in her eyes was no longer there
All hope and all joy had quickly disappeared
Her sole begins it's journey into the eternal flame
As she leaves behind a world that will never be the same
She will rest 6 feet under, with her name engraved in stone
Where she will rot for eternity, a heap of flesh and bone.
I look into the casket, enraged by what I see
For there is only an empty shell where my friend used to be
Tears stream from my eyes as reality sets in
This is goodbye to my friend and comrade, we shall never meet again

This poem was not written to anybody really. I have many friends who have thought about taking their own life and this poem shows what would be going through my head if they did.
