Down the well
Down into the rabbit hole
Down to the emptiness
That consumes your very soul
Down to the darkness
Down to the pain
Drowning yourself
In this fiery rain
You see the light
But it's so far overhead
And you try to reach it
Scared you're left for dead
The magic of the trip
Is lost on your fear
Your happiness was there
Now it's no longer near
There is just darkness
And a silence so cold
The loneliness eats away
The pain forever untold
