Standing patiently,
waiting anxiously.
Hundred of people surround me.
All waiting for the same reason.
A beautiful moment about to occur:
Old Faithful ready to broadcast its beauty.
Time ticks by,
people around me sigh,
ready to see the magical event.
Old Faithful starts to bubble,
People around me huddle,
striving for a peek.
Then it happens,
Old Faithful explodes.
Water spewing hundreds of feet in the sky.
But then it ends.
Over as soon as it began.
And we wait again.
