Why does life play tricks the way it does?
It gives us hope, joy, sense of worth,
Then it slaps you in the face.

Never being smart enough,
Pretty enough,
Strong enough,
Happy enough,
Good enough.

Life plays tricks.
Life takes chances
then gets knocked down.
Life gets back up
Stronger.

I wrote this to inspire struggling kids to never give up and when something bad happens, there is always good that will come from it.
