i saw you in the overcast sky,

i saw you in the way my grandmother looked at my grandfather,

i saw you in the way the cool breeze danced across my skin,

i saw you in the persistent droplets of rain that had the courage to venture from their clouds.

i saw you.

and i will always see you.
