In The Eyes Of The Beholder

Cold. That's what it was.Sharp, cutting, painful
each movement was as through frost
But something changed, she embraced the pain
And she was soaring, she was flying,
brilliant, beautiful, graceful even
It didn't get better for her
for her, this was heaven.
The pain came back,slowly at first
slow, but torture, and once more came the hurt
she fought it, she tried
but somethings you cannot win
what doesn't kill you makes you stronger
but what kills you? Just kills you.
