You made my day today.
It was the very last minute,
Before the bell rang,
You came over to me
With your big ol' smile.
"Didn't get to talk to you much today, best friend."
You said with a hug.
"No, it made me lonely."
I always told the truth to you.
I have nothing to hide,
But everything to lose.
"I missed you."
You said.
And made my heart leap.
Then the bell rang before I could reply.
"Goodbye, see you later."
I called over my shoulder.
