for i am a lost soul.
i float throughout the earth.
observing,
watching,
taking note.

i see you,
sitting there.
if only i could
wipe that
damned smirk
off of your face.
or better yet,
erase you.

i care not
for you
or yours.
nor for life and death.
in this godforsaken
place.

i loathe you.
you know who you are.
your cheeks,
they start to burn.

you want to cry,
but you won’t,
for i shan’t allow it.

and now,
i take
my rightful place,
on this throne
of thorns and ivy.
