It's the perfect cliche really
He loves her
And I love him
They have a friendship
I cannot compete with
He and I once shared feelings
Those are often re-ignited
This time of year
Triggered be adrenaline and emotions
Memories and history together
But she gets the best of him
Though I gladly hold him at his worst
I am still just a shoulder to cry on
