When i was little/I used to point a chubby finger toward the dark sky/And ask my father/why some stars moved and others didn’t/He would laugh and explain that some were airplanes/I still wish on them today ~ Laugh-It-Out
The feathers of a crow are black/The ink of my pen is blacker/The pain of my heart is blackest~ Mckay
If love produced a blossom/I’d take it in my palm/What a blessing, the bright color!/How soothing, such a balm!/I’d keep a petal for my own/The rest, drop from my hands/For such a flower would multiply/And populate the lands~ thesilentraven
And I began to rival legends/Long entombed before my birth./But for all my much envied fame/The lust for more would not abate./The plaques and prizes with my name/Will, like all things, disintegrate. ~ TheEpic95 now known as Helena_Noel

There ain’t any way to make sure,
Whether we would have time galore.
Cursing and swearing, I never hold back
Yet, a little kind word always lack.
Time and time again I’ve agreed,
The sand runs way faster than we need.
Couldn’t say a world of words I wanted
Got stuck in my throat and he* taunted.
Have I ever caused him* injury in some way?
No coming back, “Adieu” once say!
Thence what I cannot say I will write,
For a tongue-tacked fool when speak I might.
Of my affection, in doubt don’t be caught,
Whether I get time to tell you or not:
How dear and near to my heart you are,
You’re my lively daffodil and my twinkling star!
Make haste, everyone! I advise.
Say it all today and act wise.

Firslt , I totally understand,, I've tried that too but TeenInk formatting sucks.. Ah well, Plus, Oh my dear Star! I loved your feedback, it was in no way obnoxious as you though it might be.. It was absolutely wonderful! I mean to say that I always love it when people give such detailed comments, saying what they liked, what they thought about each line.. It makes me SO happy.. You do too? If so, then I'll give you detailed feedback from now on too... :PP   Now finally Thank you thank you thank you so much! You are very kind... I'm overjoyed that you read this with such focus and your reaction to  each line was something fun to read, not just fun but wonderful, amazing, simply AWESOME. So thank you. Love, Dua.

Aw :/. I had that all spaced out nicely before I posted it, but I guess formatting messed up. Sorry about that.

I hope you don’t mine me tearing this apart, but as packed as it is, I’m not sure if I would be able to respond coherently any other way. :$   Lines one and two: For some reason, I just really like the fact that you used “ain’t” here. It makes the poem seem more direct—as if you are addressing the reader personally.   Lines three and four: Feisty! But emotionally charged as well.  Line four introduces something akin to the feeling of regret, which creates an interesting contradiction.   Lines five and six: I love “The sand runs way faster than we need.”   Lines seven through ten: And in comes personification! I like way you write about Time, especially because you portray him as a bit of a jerk. :P The line “No coming back, “Adieu” once say!” is definitely one of my favorites.   Lines eleven through fourteen: Beautifully written! Your tone here takes a turn for the better, but it is powerful mainly because of how dismal it was in the past few lines. I’m not sure if this makes any sense, but something about these lines seemed anthem-esque to me.   Lines fifteen and sixteen: Awwwww!   Lines seventeen and eighteen: Perfect ending! When I first read this, I was surprised by the optimism you chose to end it with. What a roller coaster of a poem you’ve written here!   Overall, fantastic work! It is rare to get to read a poem as complex and literarily diverse as this. :)   (Sorry for the obnoxiously long comment.)

In case you were wondering, THIS was the one I was talking about. This is the one I admire. Very good work!
