Today we are here
Together in bliss
The one day we spend
That no one can take
How little worries seem
When you’re here next to me
Taking pain away
How small the world begins to be
We can go anywhere
Do anything
With you by my side
And the happiness you bring
But in this one day
Just you and me
Presents exchanged
And a hug shared between
There’s nothing else needed
Not even words
Today is our day
To let our feelings be seen
