Blue rose
your color is fading
is it because of sadness
is it because people say you need to be like them to fit in

Blue rose
your pedals are falling
is it because you are broken
is it because no one else is like you

Blue rose
you aren't yourself
you're loosing your personality
you're loosing who you are

Blue rose
you're dying

The author's comments:
For English class I had to find a picture and write a poem about it. I found a picture of a blue rose that was fading into grey and dying. That picture inspired me to write this.
