I had high hopes for us.
That your eyes would gaze into mine
And you'd see the world in a different perspective.
I had high hopes for us.
That we would laugh everything off
And see every fight as a part of our story.
I had high hopes for us.
That we'd forget our hectic past
And look forward to our perfect future.
I had high hopes for us.
That we'd fall in love;
In the midst of the silence that was overcome by happiness.
I had high hopes for us.
That we'd meet again,
And recreate our fairy tale once more.
