Puppy Love

My heart belongs to her
And so does my soul
It all started with puppy love
And into this relationship,
It has grown

We have a special connection
That not many have
We’ve been through everything together
Through the good and the bad

The only thing that counts,
Is that our love is true
That our hearts are pure
And able to say “I love you”

We fell in love at first glance
I knew I liked her and,
That she was special in some way
But I knew I didn’t have a chance

This model of a teen
Was too far out of my league
But I gave her all I had
And she fell for me ?
I’m glad to say
That we’re still together,
To this very day

It’s been a happy four years
The best ones of my life
I plan on being with her forever
And making her my beautiful wife

I was right when I said,
That puppy love is the best
It can blossom into lifelong love
It can give you someone,
To spend the rest of your life with
I thank god every day,
For this beautiful gift

My love knows no bounds
Turned from puppies,
Into hounds
But we still love each other dearly,
And that’s the best part
It’s all thanks to the puppy love,
That we experienced in the start.
