I dream of love
Of dances with boys
Where I get
Everything I've wanted
But they're just dreams
Just hopeless, sad
Little fantasies
That swim around my mind
Like fish in a river
They hide in my locker,
In my pockets,
In my notebooks
Endless stories
Of homecoming dresses
And evenings lying
In soft grass
Dreaming
With someone other than
Myself
